For those who would like exploring the historical values of Sri Lanka during their hiking and trekking adventures, Anuradhapura, Polannaruwa, Dambulla and Mihintale would be perfect. These places hold preserved ruins of the ancient Sinhalese kings’ times. There are also trekking paths within the cultural triangle from Minneriya to Sigiriya. The more challenging and adventurous hikers would opt for Knuckles, which is a mountain in the Central Province, about 1,863 meters above the sea level. And also the trekking path which starts from Belihul Oya and leads away to the Horton Plains has in store some magnificent views and a range of bio diversity that entertains and exhilarates the tourists.

A unique experience can be gained from the different locations in Sri Lanka available for hiking & trekking.
